The Sunday reset

There’s something about Sunday that makes me want to slow everything down a little.

It’s usually the day I try to get the house back in order, put fresh bedding on, make something nice to eat and take a bit of time to reset before the week begins again.

I love the small rituals of it all - a long walk with a podcast, a coffee that takes a little longer to drink, a candle lit while I tidy the kitchen, something cosy on the television later on.

Nothing particularly exciting, but that’s kind of the point.

I think home feels at its best when it gives you that sense of calm - when everything feels just a little more settled, the lights are low, the candle is burning and you know you don’t really need to be anywhere else.

For me, Sundays are less about getting everything perfectly organised and more about creating a little bit of space before Monday arrives.

A reset, but a gentle one.

So tonight will hopefully look something like this: a Sunday roast (so excited it’s time for this again!), a cosy film, a favourite candle and an early night.

Perfect.

Love,
Kirsteen x
