A new chapter for Cicely & May

There’s something lovely about coming back to what you really love. After a little break, I’m so happy to be bringing Cicely & May back to the things I’ve always loved most.

Over the years, Cicely & May has grown, changed and explored lots of different things, but candles have always been at the heart of it for me. They were where it all began back in 2019, and they’re still the thing I most love making.

So this feels like a little return to the beginning - but with everything I’ve learned along the way.

From now on, Cicely & May is all about candles.

Beautiful fragrance, simple styling, small-batch pouring and those little everyday moments that somehow feel better once a candle is lit.

I’ve been spending lots of time thinking about the fragrances, the website, the details and how I want Cicely & May to feel. I keep coming back to the same idea: home should be somewhere you genuinely love spending time.

For me, that might be Gilmore Girls on in the background, all the small lamps lit (no big lights!) trying a new recipe for dinner, or settling down for a cosy film at the end of the day.

Nothing particularly grand; just the little things that make everyday life lovely.

And that’s exactly what I want Cicely & May candles to be part of.

It feels really exciting to be focusing on one thing again and making it the very best I can.
