There are always a few little things I find myself reaching for when autumn arrives.
Nothing particularly extravagant; just those comforting, everyday things that make cooler mornings, darker evenings and slower weekends at home feel that little bit nicer.
When I put together the Autumn Seasonal Living Guide, I gathered some of my favourite finds for the season into one little edit. So I thought I’d share them here too - a mixture of cosy favourites, things for home and simple autumn comforts I genuinely love.
Wicker adds warmth to your home, and these lidded baskets are great for storing things you don’t necessarily want out on display.
I used to use only white tablecloths before realising how much warmth a coloured one would bring to the room, and whilst this olive green / mustard colour is perfect for Autumn, it works for all year round.
How gorgeous? So fun to have a few wine glasses in these muted colours - no need to buy a matching set - these look so pretty mixed-and-matched.
Imagine your morning coffee poured into this, to enjoy first thing, before the rest of the house is up. As with the wine glasses, I love having cups mix and matched; similar, but definitely don’t have to be from the same set.
Of course - we love a candle lit all day round here but scattering a few candles around your table makes it extra cosy.
06 / Beautiful ceramics for hosting
We love having people over and sharing food; putting everything on beautiful plates / in bowls and making the table look pretty makes such a difference.
Perfect for dropping in your keys / dog lead / post when it comes in so you can deal with it later. Having a designated place to put things makes your home look more intentional (and makes you feel more organised!)
Extra points if they’re in an autumnal colour, but really just setting the table with any napkin elevates it and makes the space feel a bit more special. No saving these for best!
Obviously any blanket will be cosy but I love the colours of this one.
I love to use items in an unexpected way - I would use this little jug for storing spoons next to the coffee machine.
